Deluxe	Sofitel Hyland Smart, modern and deluxe, the Sofitel Hyland occupies an unparalleled position in the heart of the Nanjing Road shopping area, just a short walk from Peoples Square, the Bund, museums and theatres. Superior	Holiday Inn Downtown The Holiday Inn Downtown Shanghai, a 4-star international hotel, is very well located two minutes walk from Shanghai Railway Station, and only a minute from the subway station, just three stops from Peoples Square in the heart of Shanghai. Deluxe	Hyatt Regency Hyatt Regency Xian is ideally located within the ancient walls of historic Xian, the Provincial Government Offices, central business district and the major entertainment, shopping and nightlife areas are easily accessed on foot or by a short taxi ride. Standards at this hotel are exceptionally high as you would expect from this prestigious hotel group.
Deluxe	Sofitel on Renmin Square The Sofitel is the most upmarket of three sister hotels managed by the Accor Group all situated in a lovely quiet enclave within the old Xian city walls - the others being the Grand Mercure and Mercure. The hotels are all different but they share many facilities: guests at the Mercure can use the pool at the Sofitel for example. Deluxe	Grand Mercure The second of this trio of hotels, the Grand Mercure is a deluxe establishement with a rather more grandy formal, older-fashioned air than the super-modern Sofitel. Guests here can use all the facilities of the Sofitel, just a few moments walk away across the lovely gardens. All of the hotels are only minutes away from the Bell Tower, at the very heart of Xian, the Great Mosque and other places of interest.
Superior	Mercure The only 4-star International Standard hotel in Xian, The Mercure has very smart, modern rooms, and superb bathrooms (most of which have shower but not bath). Breakfast is taken in the hotel's Breakfast Restaurant, and a full range of bars and restaurants is to be found in the nearby Sofitel.
Superior	Aurum International This is a very well located international class hotel, situted within the walls of the old city of Xian. The rooms are well decorated and well sized, and the hotel has three restaurants, swimming pool and gym and broadband access in most rooms.

Deluxe	Sheraton The Sheraton Suzhou is a very striking hotel, being built to reflect the architectural styles of Suzhou, rather than as a faceless tower. The hotel's entrance is built in the style of an old city wall, and the rooms are built on many levels overlooking lovely gardens, courtyards and the park beyond. Superior	Garden View The Garden View Hotel is situated right in the heart of Suzhou, just a few minutes walk from shops, restaurants and the Temple of Mystery, however the hotel itself is a peaceful oasis, being built around a central garden. Many of the rooms look out into small private garden courtyards, and the hotel has a quiet, intimate atmosphere. Superior	Kunming Hotel Although it has a somewhat glitzy foyer, the Kunming Hotel's bedroom floors have been very tastefully refurbished in a luxurious and restrained style. It is a very comfortable hotel in a good location in the heart of Kunming.

	Hotels in Tibet
Superior	Four Points Sheraton Situated in eastern Lhasa city, Four Points is on the Lhasa River and faces Jiangsu Avenue, a 10-minute walk from the Jokhang Temple and Barkhorn Street and only an eight-minute drive from the Potala Palace. The rooms are warm and inviting with a contemporary design with many amenities. This is the only international brand hotel in Llasa city at present.
Standard	Shangbala The Shangbala is a modest hotel, but has clean and comfortable rooms with TV, two restaurants and a nice bar. The hotel is located in the lively heart of Lhasa old town, just a few steps from the Jokheng Temple and Barkhor square with its numerous market stalls and traders.

	Hotels in Shangri-La
Deluxe	Paradise Hotel This is a very good 5* hotel with lovely swimming pool & inner garden. There are two different styles of rooms, Tibetan & European, to choose from. Both types of rooms are beautifully designed & furnished, the 'European' style is modern & elegant while the 'Tibetan' is traditional & beautiful.
Superior	Holy Palace Hotel The Holy Palace is a recently completed 4-star hotel in a convenient location in the centre of Shangrila town. The rooms are very large, airy and comfortable, and the hotel has the usual range of amenities you would expect in a 4-star establishment.
Boutique	Gyalthang Dzong A very charming small 'boutique' hotel, the Gyalthang Dzong is only two stories high,and all the rooms are arranged around a central courtyard. The rooms are designed and furnished in a very tibetan style, with a raised sleeping platform and decorated fabric wall and ceiling hangings. 	Hotels in Lijiang
Deluxe	Guanfang Hotel The Guanfang is a large 5* deluxe hotel, offering very high standards of decor and service. Under european management, the Guanfang also offers a huge range of facilities, including swimming pool, sports facilites and a bowling alley. There are several restaurants including a revolving restaurant at the top of the hotel. A shuttle bus takes clients to the old town, which is about 15 minutes walk away.
Superior	Grand Hotel In terms of comfort and location, the Grand Lijiang hotel is an excellent choice. For a three-star hotel, the large rooms are well furnished with a range of amenities, including in-house American movies. The marble bathrooms are spacious and clean. Rooms on the north side have magnificent views of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain range, while the old town is just outside the front door. Many scenic spots including the Black Dragon Pool are within walking distance.

	Hotels in Dali
Deluxe	Regent Hotel The Regent is a new 5-star hotel offering a high standard of accommodation. The hotel is situated on the edge of Dali city, a short walk from the center of the old town.
Superior	Landscape Hotel This charming hotel is situated in Dali old town, and is built around a series of courtyards in the architectural style of the Bai People.
