Day 1. Arrive Bangkok
Arriving at Bangkok, our Thai representative will be at the aiport
to welcome you & transfer you to the famous 5* Oriental hotel.
Perched on the banks of the Chau Phya river, the Oriental is one of
the worlds most luxurious hotels and has been welcoming
the rich and famous for 130 years. Now its your turn.
The rest of day will be at leisure to allow you to enjoy the facilites of the hotel,
relax by the pool or enjoy the magnificent spa.

Day 2. Bangkok
An early morning start today, as we take a trip to see the famous
Damnern Saduak floating market with a stop at
Nakom Pathom where the largest Pagoda in Thailand is located. Afterwards, we drive back to
Bangkok for our city tour which includes The Grand Palace, Funeral Hall, Wat Pra Kaew, Wat
Traimit, Wat Pho, Wat Benchamabopit & temple of Dawn plus a canal tour on a
private boat. Lunch at Riverside restaurant. Evening to enjoy a traditional
Thai dinner & dance show.
Day 3. Bangkok - Luang Prabang
Transfer to airport for your flight to Laos. Arriving at Luang Prabang our
Laos representative will be at the airport to welcome you & transfer
to the Maison Souvannaphoum hotel. This lovely boutique hotel was a former
residence of a member of the royal family, but has now been converted into a
delightful place to stay. After lunch at a local restaurant, our
afternoon city tour of thise former royal capital includes
Visit Wat Visoun, the site of the impressive Thad Makmo stupa and Phou Sii hill
which stands right in the centre of town. Climb its 350 steps to
enjoy commanding views for many miles in each direction. Wat Phu Sii
sits atop the mountain, alongside the skeletons of Indochina war
anti-aircraft guns. Then continue to visit Wat Mai. Built in 1796,
the five-tiered roof of the wooden Sim (chapel) epitomises the graceful
Luang Prabang architectural style, as does Wat Xieng Thong. We visit also
the National Museum, housed in the former King's palace. Displayed inside
is a collection of personal artifacts of the former royal family,
including photos, musical instruments, and many gifts received from
dignitaries of foreign countries. Return to hotel.

Day 4: Luang Prabang
After breakfast, we take a morning boat trip on the mighty Mekong River
to visit the Pak Ou Caves with their many Buddha statues. Return to Luang
Prabang for lunch at a local restaurant, then take
the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 5: Luang Prabang
This morning visit several hill tribe villages on the way to the Tad Khuang Sii
waterfall. The falls cascade over many calcified tiers and down several
hundred feet into a series of cool, turquoise pools. The water here has
a clear blue-green tint due to the high mineral content. You can climb
the stairs and look down from various high viewpoints on the way to the
top! Enjoy a picnic lunch by the waterfall then return to the hotel.
Rest of day at leisure.
Day 6: Luang Prabang - Vientiane
Transfer to airport for your flight to Vientiane, pick up & transfer
to the Settha Palace hotel. Another wonderful old French colonial landmark
with rosewood furniture & black & white Venetian marble bathrooms. After lunch
at a local restaurant our Vientiane tour includes Wat Hoprakeo,
built in 1566 by King Setthathirat to house the
Emerald Buddha, Wat Sisaket, the only temple in Vientiane that survived the
destruction of the city by the Siamese (Thai) in 1828; ThatLuang Stupa Museum
shrine (great Sacred Stupa), the most important national monument in Vientiane,
believed to contain a relic of Lord Buddha; and finally the
Pratuxay Monument situated in the centre of Vientiane prefecture,
its architecture inspired by the Arc de Triomphe in Paris and incorporating
typical Lao motifs. Dinner at local restaurant.

Day 7: Vientiane - Siem Reap
Transfer to airport for your flight to Cambodia. Arriving at Siem Reap,
our Cambodia representative will be at the airport to welcome you & transfer you
to the Raffles Grand Hotel d'Angkor. This hotel, built in 1930, has been completely
restored to its former glory, even the original 'bird-cage' lift has been
reinstalled. The rest of day is at leisure to enjoy the facilities of the hotel.
Evening at local restaurant with traditional Cambodian dance performance on stage.

Day 8: Siem Reap (Angkor)
Today we have a full day visit to the antiquities at Angkor. Starting with the
ancient royal capital city of Angkor Thom: the Bayon Temple,
Thommanon, Chau Say Tevoda, Terrace of Elephants and Leper king and Taprohm
temples. After lunch at a local restaurant, we will visit the world famous
Angkor Wat and the Ta Som, Ta Keo and Pre Rup temples.
Return to town.
Day 9: Siem Reap
Morning trip to Phnom Kulen where the river of 1000 lingas features
thousands of carvings engraved into the sandstone rocks under the water.
We also visit the Rock temple with a large reclining Buddha, and enjoy a
picnic lunch by the waterfall. After lunch we return to Siem Reap, calling
in at the oldest temple in Angkor, Banteay Srei.
This temple has the best engravings among all the ruins.
Day 10: Siem Reap - Phnom Penh
Transfer to airport for your flight to Phnom Penh, pick up & transfer
to the Raffles Le Royal Hotel. The sister of the Grand Hotel in Siem Reap, the
Le Royal is another glorious example of colonial style and elegance. The new wings
of the hotel have been carefully designed to be indistinguishable from the older
parts of the building. Even the light switches and door knobs are reproduced in the
same style as the original building! Rest of day at leisure to relax by the wonderful
swimming pool or enjoy a drink at the famous 'Elephant Bar', one of Phnom Penhs most famous
watering holes.

Day 11: Phnom Penh
Today, our city tour of Phnom Penh includes the Royal Place, the Silver Pagoda, the
Independence monument & National Garden Park. After lunch at local restaurant,
we visit the Toul Sleng Museum of Genocide and Cheung-Ek Killing Fields, together with
the Central Market and Russian Markets if you wish.
Day 12: Phnom Penh - Ho Chi Minh City
Transfer to airport for your flight to Vietnam. Arriving at Ho Chi Minh City,
our Vietnam representative will be at the airport to welcome you & transfer
to the Majestic hotel. This colonial building dating from about 1920 is superbly
positioned facing the Saigon River, and just a short stroll to the shops of
Dong Khoi. The rooms are charming & the hotel oozes character. Rest of day at leisure.
Evening dinner at local Vietnamese restaurant.
Day 13: Ho Chi Minh City
Today our full day city tour includes The Reunification Palace
(former Presidential Palace), Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral,
Ben Thanh Market, Thien Hau pagoda, The Museum of HCM Campaign,
China Town in Cholon & Binh Tay Market etc. Overnight in HCMC.
Day 14: Ho Chi Minh City - Hanoi
Transfer to airport for your flight to Hanoi. Pick up & transfer to
the famous Metropole Hotel. This is the most prestigious address in Hanoi, and
enjoys a prime position at the heart of the city, geographically and socially.
History runs through the hotel corridors, and famous former guests include
Charlie Chaplin, Graham Green & Jane Fonda. Rest of day at leisure.

Day 15: Hanoi
Our full day city tour today includes Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum (closed on Monday,
Friday and the whole October-November) and Residence, One-Pillar Pagoda,
Army Museum. Lunch at local restaurant. Visit Temple of Literature, built in
the 11th century as Vietnam’s first university, Fine Art Museum, Quan Thanh Temple,
Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple in the Old Quarter of Hanoi.
Day 16: Hanoi - Departure
Transfer to airport for your flight homewards or to your next destination.
