Central Vietnam and Cambodia
Day 1. London / Ho Chi Minh City
Welcome to Ho Chi Minh City! Upon arrival, you will be met
and assisted by our friendly representative all the way from
the airport to the hotel. The rest of the day is free at
leisure. Evening dinner at local restaurant.
Day 2. Ho Chi Minh City
A full day city tour of dynamic Ho Chi Minh City, still
called Saigon by many locals, takes in the former
Presidential Palace, the Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Saigon
Post Office, the History Museum, a lacquerware factory,
Thien Hau Pagoda and Binh Tay Market in the city's bustling
chinatown. Accommodation in HCMC.
Day 3. Ho Chi Minh City - Buon Ma Thuot - Lak Lake
Morning: One-hour flight to Buon Ma Thuot - The city of
aromatic coffee. Visit D'raysap Waterfall. Transfer to Lak
Lake with stop over at Krong Kma waterfall. Visit the M’nong
hill tribe village of Jun and dugout ride on Lak Lake and
elephant ride through village or a visit to M’lieng
village. Overnight at Jun Village.
Day 4: Lak Lake - Buon Ma Thuot
Transfer to BMT to visit Buon Ma Thuot museum of ethnology
and Ede tribal village in Ako Dhong. Enjoy the excellent
flavor of BMT’s coffee. Transfer to Don village for
elephant ride, sightseeing. Return to BMT. Overnight at Thang Loi
hotel.
Day 5: Buon Ma Thuot - Decop
Transfer to Kodong for trekking through 4 villages of Bahnar
ethnic minority and overnight at Decop village. In the
evening, enjoy the traditional show of Bahnar songs and
dances, drink “Can” (rice) wine. Overnight at village.
Day 6: Decop - Pleiku -HCM
Visit wooden cathedral and the orphanage school. Visit
Pleiku market, T’nung lake (volcanic lake) before transfer
to Pleiku airport for the flight to HCM City. Arrive at Tan
Son Nhat Airport, transfer to the hotel for check in. Free
at leisure. Overnight at hotel.
Day 7: HCM - Phan Thiet
Leave Ho Chi Minh City by road for Phan Thiet. The scenic
200km drive north on Highway One passes through the bustling
city of Bien Hoa before cutting through dense rubber
plantations. Nearer to Phan Thiet the terrain changes to
arid semi-desert with cactus plants and strange looking
dragon fruit trees. Arrive in Phan Thiet in the late morning
and check into resort. The rest of day is free to relax by
the pool or on the sandy beach. Overnight at hotel.
Day 8-Day 9: Phan Thiet
Breakfast. Relax on the beach.
Day 10: Phan Thiet - Ho Chi Minh
Breakfast. Drive back to Ho Chi Minh City. Afternoon at
leisure. Overnight in HCM
Day 11: HCM - Siem Reap
Arrival Siem Reap
by air. Pick up and transfer to hotel. Boat trip & enjoy
wonderful views of Tonlesap Great-Lake. Lunch.
City tour then visit old market. Angkor Wat
Sunset from the top of Phnom Bakheng .
Day 12: Siem Reap (Angkor Wat)
Angkorwat Sunrise, return to hotel for Breakfast. Visit of
ancient royal capital of Angkor Thom: Bayon, Thommanon, Chau
Say Tevoda, Terraces of Elephants and Leper king and Taprohm
temple. Lunch. Afternoon Visit the
7th World heritage wonder of Angkorwat temple, Ta Som, Ta
Keo, Pre Rup temples return to town.
Day 13: Siem Reap - Phnom Penh
Breakfast at the hotel, transfer to airport for flight to
Phnom Penh. Arrival Pochengtong Airport. Visit to Toul Sleng
Crime Museum. Lunch. Visit the
National Museum, Royal Palace & Silver Pagoda,
Independence monument.
Day 14: Phnom Penh - Departure
Breakfast. Free at leisure until transfer to the airport for
departure.
