Our 14 day tour of this fascinating country!
Day 1: Arr. Kuala Lumpur
Arriving Kuala Lumpur our Malaysia representative will be at the airport to welcome you & transfer to your hotel.
Today our city tour includes Independence Square, King's Palace, Railway station, Petronas Twin Tower, Chinatown &
Golden Triangle etc. Lunch at local restaurant. (L)
Day 2: KL - Batu Caves - KL
This morning we drive to visit the famous Batu Caves, a limestone hill which has a series of caves and cave temples,
and is one of the most popular Hindu shrines outside India, dedicated to Lord Murugan. It is the focal point of the
Hindu festival of Thaipusam which attracts over 1.5 million pilgrims yearly, making it one of the largest annual
gatherings anywhere in the world. Return to Kuala Lumpur. After lunch rest of day at leisure. Tonight we will take
you out to the famous night market in Chinatown & then to the Petronas Twin Towers for the spectacular night view
of the city & a wonderful Malay buffet dinner with traditional Malay music & dance. (B/L/D)
Day 3: KL - Malacca - KL
This morning we drive for about 2 hours to the old historical city of Malacca. Our full day city tour includes St.
Peter's Church, Chinese Hill, Dutch Square, Chinatown & St. Pauls Hill etc. Drive back to Kuala Lumpur in the late
afternoon. (B/L)
Day 4: KL - Cameron Highlands
Today we leave Kuala Lumpur city & drive to the Cameron Highlands. Upon arrival transfer to hotel. Today's tour
includes Tea plantation, Rose Farm, Strawberry Farm & Butterfly Park. (B/L)
Day 5: Cameron Highlands - KL
Morning at leisure. Afternoon we drive back to Kuala Lumpur & transfer to your hotel. (B)
Day 6 KL
A free day at leisure to do some shopping in Kuala Lumpur city. (B)
Day 7: KL - Kuching (Borneo)
Transfer to airport for your flight to Borneo. Arriving Kuching, our local representative will be at the airport to
welcome you & transfer to your hotel. Today's city tour includes Chinatown, The Astana, Sarawak Museum & Cat Monument,
Market, Old State Mosque etc. Lunch at local restaurant. (B/L)
Day 8: Kuching - Semenggoh
Today we visit the famous Semenggoh Nature Reserve. About half hour by car & foot through the forest to visit the
Orang Utans who are set free in the forest reserve. You can watch them during their feeding time. Afterward we
continue our journey to the traditional Iabn Longhouse Safari. The car journey will take about 4 hours through
scenic countryside. On the way we also visit a town called Serian & visit their wet market to see their local
products etc. After lunch at a local restaurant at Lachau village we drive on to the riverbank for about one
hour longboat ride upstream to Iban Longhouse. Upon arrival we will visit the local traditional longhouse where
all the family live under one roof in one large room. A traditional dance & locally brewed rice wine will be served
as a welcome drink to you by the locals. Afterwards another half hour boat ride takes us to the resort where we will
stay overnight. Dinner at Resort. (B/L/D)
Day 9: Semenggoh
This morning about one & half hour by car & boat to the Bako National Park. This is the oldest National Park in
Sarawak where we may be able to see wildlife such as long-tailed macaques, white bearded pigs, silver leaf monkeys
etc. Return to hotel & overnight. (B/L/D)
Day 10: Semenggoh - Kuching
This morning we transfer you back to Kuching city & transfer to hotel. Rest of day at leisure. (B)
Day 11: Kuching
This morning about one hour drive to visit the Fairy & Wind caves. We will view beautiful limestones in Fairy
cave & bats & bird net in Wind cave. After lunch we will join a river cruise cruising along the Sarawak River through
the landscape of villages & cities. After dinner transfer back to hotel. (B/L/D)
Day 12: Kuching - Kuala Lumpur
Transfer to airport for your flight to Kuala Lumpur, pick up & transfer to your hotel. (B)
Day 13: Kuala Lumpur
A free day at leisure to do some shopping or simply relax by your hotel swimming pool. (B)
Day 14: Kuala Lumpur - Departure
Free at leisure until transfer to airport for your return flight to UK. (B)
