Mountains & rivers are the theme of our trip this year - in beautiful Laos we see the mysterious Plain of Jars and the lovely Si Phan Don - ('Four Thousand Islands') before we head off to Northern Vietnam to visit Sapa and Bac Ha. Then we come south to Hue and Hoi An before discovering fabulous Tam Hai.

Narrowly escaping the devastating effects of the tsunami by just 48 hours, we follow with horrified fascination the unfolding events in Asia relayed to our hotel rooms by CNN, quickly rearrange the itineraries of our customers due to travel to the Andaman resorts of Thailand, then head off to Myanmar for a fantastic week in 'The Golden Land.'
